WeThankYou Extravaganza

WeSpeakWNC wants to celebrate our workers in the hospitality and tourism sectors as the busy summer season ends and before the fall season begins by offering fun team building experiences to give your staff a firsthand glimpse into the exciting adventures within our region.

Not only can they enjoy this with their coworkers, but they will learn about other types of businesses within our sectors and hopefully share them with customers who ask, “what is there to do around here?”.

What kind of experiences?

White Water Rafting, Ziplining, Cooking Classes, Horseback Riding and much more!

We’d love for your employees to enjoy the wonderful offerings in our area, on us. This is our way of thanking you for being part of the Create Bridges project and to thank you and your employees for making WNC the magical and unique place that it is.

Do you want to offer this opportunity to your staff?

Would you want your business to be one of the locations that we include?

If so, then please fill out this form as soon as possible to participate – the WeThankYou Extravaganza trips will take place in September.

Create Bridges is not only going to pay but will also assist in the booking process to make it easy.

This is going to be special for everyone involved and we hope you will join us!

Please know that we are only offering spots for 15 businesses in the region, so don’t wait long, fill out the form to save your spot.

All businesses that take part in WeThankYou will be entered to win a drawing for a 2-night stay at The Tapoco Lodge Resort on the Cheoah River in Robbinsville, NC!

Your Create Bridges/WeSpeakWNC Team,
Eli Hashemi & Becky Bowen

2023 WeSpeakWNC Workforce Conference

The first-ever WeSpeakWNC Workforce Conference was a great success.

It was held on Monday, February 27th & Tuesday, February 28th at the Cherokee Convention Center at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Western North Carolina.

This conference was an opportunity for WNC businesses in the retail, hospitality, accommodation, tourism and entertainment sectors to connect with each other, with potential employees, and to resources available for them in our region.

Both February 27th AND 28th were carefully designed for our region’s Employers and Managers within these sectors. There were engaging events and sessions for job seekers, high school and college students as well as current sector employees offered on February 28th.
